MY STORY
I’m Helen, I offer fascia focused massage and bodywork to help with the relief of pain, tension, stress and anxiety. Whether you have a specific injury, area of dysfunction, are feeling burnt out or totally wired and in need of deep relaxation, I can help you.
My approach is to work slowly and intuitively, using deep intentional pressure rather than overworking areas and causing pain. The idea is to make friends with your body rather than bully it into submission.
I blend training in Sports and Remedial Massage, Sarga Bodywork and Ayurvedic Facial massage with experience of mindfulness and a sensibility to the ways in which emotions play out through physical pain.
Whatever you bring to the massage couch, physical or emotional, it will be held with kindness and in confidence.
My own love for fitness, movement and dance combined with my personal journey to alleviate emotional pain through somatic bodywork has been central to shaping my approach.
